The story of Elephant and Sparrow

The story of Elephant and Sparrow

A flock of Sparrows lived in a forest. They laid eggs in the hut and hatched chicks. An Elephant lived in that forest.  One day, while coming to drink water in the river by the side of the hut, a few Sparrows fell under the feet of an Elephant and died. The Sparrows got very upset when they got the news. One of them wanted to avoid this incident as it was a matter of fate. But a Sparrow named Kakoli protested.

Kakoli : I don't believe this. Elephants are big animals and it is not possible to cross them by committing a crime. It needs to be prescribed. Other wise no one will be able to live in this forest.

BENGALI STORIES

Kakoli's argument and strong statement were supported by other birds. But no one showed interest in protesting the Elephant's injustice. Instead, they decided to leave the forest and move to another place. But Kakoli did not agree to accept it at all.

Kakoli said: This forest is our homeland. If we leave here for fear of the enemy, how will we protect the dignity of our homeland? Moreover, the Elephant has committed a crime, if he wants to leave, he should leave here.

At this time an old Sparrow opened his mouth for Kakoli. He said you are right. But, if you want to get the rights, you have to fight. Can we fight Elephants?

Kakoli: Why not? If we all use our intellect and our abilities, we will surely be able to defeat the Elephant. But before I get into a fight, I want to warn the Elephant one last time so that he doesn't come near our bushes anymore.

Old Sparrow: Pretty good. But what if the Elephant does not mean?

Kakoli: If the Elephant does not listen, I will teach him what will be history.

After discussing these conversations,

Kakoli went to the Elephant. Finding the Elephant, he said this is the Elephant!  How many of our children have you trampled underfoot while you were drinking water today? I came to know, did you do it on purpose or did you do it wrong?

Elephant: What happened if I did it on purpose and I did it wrong? Or how many baby Sparrows have died, has the world turned upside down?

Kakoli: No, the world has not turned upside down. But if everyone hurts each other without heeding the law, then one day the world will turn upside down.

Elephant: Get rid of this nonsense and get out of here. Otherwise I will crush all of you under my feet. Know that the price of a thousand Sparrows like you is not even equal to my one foot.

Kakoli: You are a big animal - I agree. But don't just look at your own body.  Even though we are small, our lives are worth it. And we can avenge your wrongdoing if we want to.

Elephant: What did I say? Will you take my revenge?  Ha ha ha .. It's okay to do whatever you want. But remember my name is Elephant.

Kakoli: I'm fine. But you will soon be punished for your arrogance and sin.

With this, Kakoli returned to her dormitory and told the Sparrows about the abuse of Elephants. On hearing all this, the birds became very angry and wanted to know how to tame the Elephant.

Kakoli said, "We can't do it with the Elephant in power, but since the Elephant can't fly, he can't crush us in the sky." Instead, we will attack the Elephants with our nails and lips from above. If we can pierce the Elephant's eye, its defeat is certain.

After discussing the tactics of war, everyone started attacking the Elephants at once. They surrounded the Elephant. The birds pierced his eyes before the Elephant could resist. Not seeing anything, the Elephant started running like crazy. At this time Kakoli called the frogs and heard the story of the torture of the Elephants. They are also victims of Elephant torture. They also took an oath to give proper education to the Elephant.

Meanwhile, the Elephants got very thirsty after losing their eyes due to the attack of the birds. At that time, all the frogs went to the Elephants at Kakli's direction and started shouting 'Megh ho', 'Megh ho'.

Work as you think. Hearing the sound of frogs hoping to get water, the Elephant started moving forward. At this time, at the direction of Kakoli, the frogs reached the side of a huge hole. Going there, the frogs jumped into the pit shouting 'Megh ho', 'Megh ho'. Following the call of the frog, the Elephant also fell into the hole.  He could not get out of the hole even after hundreds of attempts. The Sparrows and frogs breathed a sigh of relief as they were able to teach the Elephant.

Note: There is nothing to neglect the little ones.
