Google Sadman's dream has come true

Sadman Shakib is a 21st batch student of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at Dhaka University.  He was admitted to DU in 2015.  From the beginning of his university life, he focused on problem solving.  Continue to participate in various programming competitions.  He also got the result.  He recently got a job as a software engineer in the Chrome operating team at tech giant Google's Taiwan branch.  Narsingdi, the village home of the young talent, is scheduled to join next October.  He graduated from Notre Dame College.  He was admitted to the CSE department of DU in 2015 and completed his studies in 2019.  He later joined Samsung.  Early in his university life, Sadman was inspired by the success stories of many seniors.  He continues to weave dreams in himself.  In 2021, he got an opportunity to work in a dream company.

He told Bangladesh journalists, 'Working at Google was my dream place.  From the beginning of my varsity life, I was very interested in working at Google.  By the infinite mercy of Allah, my dream has come true. '  Mejo Sadman of three siblings.  My father was the principal officer of a government bank.  Although his home village is Narsingdi, he grew up in Dhaka.  He got inspiration from his father to study.  His interest in mathematics grew through his father.  He is scheduled to join the Taiwanese capital, Taipei, on October 4.  However, as there is no Taiwanese embassy in Bangladesh, you have to go to India and get a visa.  He said it might be a little late for him to join.  He will work as a software engineer on the security system in Google's own operating system Chrome browser.  He will work to strengthen the security of the devices that will be installed there and fix various parts.  He will also work with cryptography.  Regarding future plans, he told Bangladesh Pratidin that there are more Indians in the big tech giants.  I want to provide them with the right information so that Bangladeshis can get more jobs in these organizations and be prepared to take themselves to a bigger place.

For newcomers, he said, problem solving is very important.  If you want to give an interview to companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, you have to know the problem solving skill very well.  There will be suggestions for students to participate in various program-based problem solving competitions from the first year of university.  If it can continue well for two-three years, anyone will be well prepared.  Another thing is not to waste your skills.  The new generation will undoubtedly do better if they can take advantage of the right information.  Maybe one day Google will open an office in our country.  Maybe you can open an office when you see that there are many more opportunities here.  Sadman said, ‘The biggest gratitude for coming so far is to the family.  The role of Dhaka University is also a lot.  I have received a lot of support from the department's batchmates, seniors, juniors and above all the teachers.  Together they have created a conducive environment.  Many are proficient in programming before university admission but I had no idea about it.  It is the credit of the department to get into the competition to solve the problem.
